Kple Kple African Mask
The Kple Kple African mask is one of the better known masks of Africa. It originates from the Baule tribe of the Ivory Coast and is often refered to as a "Goli" mask.
The round head represents the nuturing sun and the horns represent the powerful buffalo. The mask is used as a symbol of fertility during agricultural and commemorative ceremonies.
