How do I shop at Timbuktoo.com?
Here are the basic steps:
- Choose the product you're interested in by clicking on it.
- Click "Add to Cart" to save the item. You can remove it later.
- Your shopping cart is a storage area where you can make your final decisions before ordering. Items can be added or removed at any time (click "remove" or change "Qty.").
- When you're ready to complete your purchase, click "Check Out." If you've changed quantities in your cart, click "Update Cart." Or, click "Continue Shopping" to go back to where you were.
- The checkout form is only two pages long. On the second page, you can review all of your information before placing your order. Your order is not complete until you click "Place Order." If you need to make changes, click "Edit Order" or "Edit Billing and Shipping" on page two of the checkout form.

100% Satisfaction Policy
Your complete satisfaction is essential to our success, and we take it seriously. If for any
reason you're not happy with your purchase, please return it to us, in its original condition,
within 30 days of receipt. Timbuktoo will gladly refund your full purchase price. To return an
item or items, please click here to get a return authorization number. This is necessary to
accurately process your return request and issue either the appropriate refund or exchange
(whichever you prefer). Please note: shipping charges are non-refundable.
If your item is damaged in transit, the procedure for returning the item is the same. However,
please let us know about any damaged items so we can alert our shipper and prevent future occurances.

Wood
- Wood is a natural material that is susceptible to climate and the elements, such as humidity.
- Sunlight will affect your wood furniture, including painted furniture.
- Dust with a dry, soft cloth.
- Never use harsh chemicals that might ruin the finish.
- Use coaster when placing beverages on your wood surfaces.
- Always use a plastic liner when displaying cut flowers in wooden vases or other wooden vessels.
Wool Rugs
- Vacuum regularly. Blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent white cloth.
- Wool rugs should not be saturated with cleaning solvents or scrubbed excessively. Natural detergents or dry extraction powders should be used. For best results, periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
Metal Decorative Accessories
- Dust with dry, soft cloth.
- Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Metal will rust if the finish is scratched or if it's exposed to excessive.
- humidity, particularly salt water.
- For added protection, especially on outdoor furniture, apply a natural paste wax or automotive wax.
- Copper can be cleaned with any mild household cleaner and maintained with paste wax.
